Wedding Venues

Renting a private villa is one of the best options for a Grand Cayman wedding. Not only will you avoid facility fees and nosy strangers, but you’ll enjoy more flexibility in your plans.
Opting for a villa also means you can have your dream wedding on your own private beach with only your guests in attendance. And, you’re not bound by contract to a specific day. If clouds begin to gather on the big day, you can call the caterer, the florist, and your guests and simply move the ceremony to the next day. In fact, if any of the details hit a snag, you’ll have time to work it out — so your big day will be everything you dreamed of and more.
Wedding Photography

Although every couple has their own set of priorities for the wedding budget, one thing you shouldn’t skimp on is the photographer. You'll want to look back on your amazing Grand Cayman wedding for years to come, and finding the right photographer is key.
We highly recommend Irene Corti Photography & Video and Joseph Linder Photography as we have seen their excellent work first-hand.

Selecting the Big Day
It’s important to note that most rentals on the island have a standard Saturday-to-Saturday booking window. With that in mind, we recommend holding your ceremony early in the week.
Weekends can be hectic for caterers and restaurants, so service on a weekday will be exceptionally better. Plus, in the event of travel delays, you will have a couple of days to allow for all your guests to arrive safely on island. If your wedding is on a Tuesday evening, for example, you’ll still have Thursday and Friday to relax and enjoy the island as newlyweds—save Wednesday for a recovery day!
Hire Grand Cayman’s Top-Notch Vendors
Planning a wedding from afar or in a foreign place can be challenging, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the destination. Sometimes, it’s easier to put yourself in the hands of local professionals with industry contacts all around the island.
Skip the stress during your wedding planning process and go through Celebrations Ltd., in George Town. Jo-Anne and her staff work wonders with any theme they’re given, from the lighting to the props to the wedding cake. A quick visit to her website shows that she consistently produces incredible events.
We also recommend Five Star Events, a smaller but equally reliable and talented wedding coordinator. Juliette and her team can help you create the perfect ceremony.
For a truly spectacular wedding caterer, we highly recommend Mise En Place located in George Town. A brief exploration of their menus will leave your mouth watering. With a variety of menus available you can go all out or opt to keep it simple. There’s even a menu designed specifically around local cuisine!
If you choose to host your reception in a private villa, you can have the event entirely catered by local restaurants. Our favorite, Tukka, is led by Chef Ron Hargrave and specializes in a fusion of Australian cuisine with Caribbean flavors. Tukka also has waterfront space to host your reception or rehearsal dinner.
