**CLICK THE RATES TAB FOR DISCOUNTS**
Welcome to Sweetie Kai, a charming and cozy 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome in the heart of Cayman Kai—perfect for young families, active couples, and relaxed travelers seeking sun, sand, and fun without breaking the bank.
This two-story home is set on the edge of Grand Cayman’s famous Bioluminescent Bay, where the waters glow to life after dark. Enjoy it from the communal waterfront pool or launch a kayak—1 single + 1 tandem provided free during your stay—for a self-guided tour on moonless nights. For guided tours, reach out to our friends at Cayman Kayaks and save 10% on Bio Bay tours.
Inside, Sweetie Kai features two upstairs bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom, balcony, and water views.
Sleeping Arrangements
(Sleeps 4 adults - 6 guests max.)
- Bedroom 1: primary suite, upper level, king bed, waterfront views, television, private balcony, air conditioning with remote, ceiling fan, ensuite with shower.
- Bedroom 2: upper level, 2 full beds, waterfront views, private balcony, air conditioning with remote, ceiling fan, ensuite with a shower bath.
- Additional Sleeping: lower level den with twin daybed suitable for 2 children only.
Downstairs, the open-concept living space connects to a modern kitchen, a half bath, laundry, and a sunny den with a twin daybed. Step onto the screened-in sunroom for breezy meals overlooking the cove without pesky bugs. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, plus cookware, flatware, glassware, and cutlery. A drip coffee maker, wine fridge, charcoal grill, and blender are also provided.
Active travelers will love the villa's 2 free bikes, single + tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, yoga mats, and hand weights, all included to help you make the most of island life. For a change of pace, take a short bike ride to Starfish Point where shallow waters and starfish await—just don't take them out of the water, please.
The Rum Point Club is directly across the street, offering one of the island’s most family-friendly beaches. Snorkel off the dock, rent jet skis for thrills, or book a sunset cruise before dinner at Solis Restaurant. You’ll also find two more casual restaurants—Blue Flame at Rum Point Resort, and the Kabio Marina—a short walk or bike ride away. The Kaibo is home to a beach bar & grill, a coffee shop, and a fine dining restaurant for special occasions. From there, you can also hop on the ferry to Camana Bay for daytrips to Seven Mile Beach, plus boutique shopping, more fabulous restaurants, and a cinema for movie nights.
With waterfront views, walkable dining options, and beach adventures just outside your door, Sweetie Kai offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and Caribbean charm minus the hefty price tag.
*Note: A Cleaning Fee is included due to enhanced cleaning and sanitation.
**Cruiser bicycles, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) are available for discounted rental. A signed waiver is required.

Amenities
Beach Notes
These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay.
Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports.
While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years.
Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses.
Nearby Beaches
The Rum Point Club is the area's big draw and easily one of the best beachfront destinations outside of Seven Mile Beach. In addition to a barefoot beach experience, you'll find food + drinks, excellent snorkeling, watersports rentals, and charter excursions for a true island experience.
For a more remote beach vibe, head south to Starfish Point. The sunsets there are phenomenal. However, please be mindful not to disturb the starfish or leave any litter behind.

There are three dining destinations within walking distance: Solis at Rum Point Club, Blue Flame at Rum Point Resort, and the Kaibo.
Located a short walk across the street, Solis is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a casual open-air beachfront setting. Confirmed guests save 10% off food + drinks with their Guest Membership card distributed at check-in in our Welcome Center.
The Rum Point Resort's newly re-opened signature restaurant Blue Flame is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations for non-resort guests are highly encouraged.
A little further south you'll find two distinct dining experiences at Kaibo: the Beach Bar & Grill for casual dining, and Upstairs for gourmet dining.
Beach Bar & Grill guests can dine on the beach, or order takeout including pizzas, burgers, and more. Reservations for Upstairs are encouraged for a night of culinary excellence. The Kaibo also includes a cafe, Kaibo Espresso, to jumpstart your day with coffee, tea, plus pastries and breakfast wraps.
