Ground Floor - Direct Beach Access
New owner, new furniture, and decor installed.
This ground-floor condo has recently been refreshed from the original Miami-style decor package to a softer, beachy vibe with neutral fabrics, shiplap accents, new beds, artwork, and natural wood finishes. The upscale kitchen and bathrooms remain unchanged.
All the comforts of home are included in this 1-bedroom + 1-bunkroom condo, totaling 1,450 sq. ft., including gourmet kitchen appliances, SmartTVs for streaming, and a private oceanfront veranda with walkout beach access.
Central air conditioning and resort-wide wifi will keep you cool and connected during your stay.
Beyond the entry foyer, this corner condo reveals a spacious oceanfront great room encompassing the living, dining, and kitchen areas. 20 feet of sliding glass ocean views from the great room and primary suite will leave you breathless. The living area is furnished with a comfy sofa and a large SmartTV.
The covered veranda is elevated above the beach and has glass railings and a privacy hedge for alfresco dining. The veranda opens to a gently sloping, paved ramp to the sandy beachfront and pool deck. Artificial grass lawns are unique to units 105 and 106 and help keep sand off little feet.
The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a suite of Thermador appliances plus Breville and Nespresso countertop appliances. Cookware, dishware, glassware, and cutlery are all provided. A private dining table sits on the veranda for alfresco dining by the sea. An additional 100 sq. ft., a Thermador wine fridge, and a kitchen island are the main differences between #105 and #106.
The Rum Point Resort fits all condos with window shades, the finest Egyptian cotton bedding, hypoallergenic pillows, duvets, and sumptuous robes.
Sleeping Arrangements
(Sleeps 6 guests; 4 adults max.)
- Primary Suite: king bed, ocean views, walkout access to the private veranda, SmartTV, large closet with room safe, ensuite with dual vanity, soaking tub, and shower.
- Bunkroom: full-over-full bunk beds, SmartTV, closet ensuite with shower; sleeps 4 children or 2 adults.
#105 can be rented with #106 as a connecting 4-bedroom Family Suite.
When it comes to tidying up, we've got you covered with an in-unit laundry, plus complimentary daily housekeeping.
There is also a rarely used 5th-floor sunset terrace with dining tables and seating with 270-degree island views of Cayman Kai and beyond. The terrace is also a serene setting for a quiet read with elevated views.
While the Rum Point Resort offers many amenities and privacy, guests can also enjoy the beach, watersports, and dining options next door at our sister beach club, the Rum Point Club. Accessible by walking on the sand from the resort, the proximity to the Rum Point Club is incredibly convenient.

Beach Notes
The famous Rum Point Club is newly renovated and consistently ranked as one of the top attractions on Grand Cayman. Only 100 yards to the west of the resort, the club offers a barefoot beach, restaurant, beach bar, beach table service, and water sports rentals!
The Rum Point Club occupies 700 feet of soft beach on the west side of the actual point, whereas the Rum Point Resort offers 500 feet on the more private east side.
The reef-protected resort beachfront enjoys a sandy beach with guest-only beach service with sun loungers, sun beds, and shade umbrellas. A private dock with a ladder provides gentle water entry into a sublime marine environment with excellent snorkeling all the way out to the reef. Either swim fins or pool shoes are suggested while exploring the ocean.
Having the best of both worlds was key in designing the Rum Point Resort so that our guests can retreat to the privacy of the resort should the crowds descend on the Rum Point Club during the day.

Booking Rules
- A 3-night minimum stay is required year-round.
- A 5-night minimum stay is required over Thanksgiving week.
- A 7-night minimum stay is required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are typically split into two rental periods. Please inquire about your travel dates prior to booking.
- Check-in: 4:00 pm.
- Check-out: 11:00 am.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the unit during the entire stay.
Deposit Policy
For guests outside of 60 days from arrival:
- A 50% deposit is required at booking to secure your dates.
- The remaining balance is due as follows:
- Jan 4 - Apr 14 stays: 60 days before arrival.
- Apr 15 - Dec 15 stays: 30 days before arrival.
- Dec 16 - Jan 3 stays: 120 days before arrival.
For guests within 60 days from arrival, the entire balance is due at booking.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation with no fees if canceled within 48 hours of booking.
- Notice of cancellation must be submitted by the guest of record to [email protected]
- Cancellations made within the timeframes below are subject to a full refund less a $200 cancel fee:
- Jan 5 - Apr 14 stays: Cancel 60 days or more before arrival.
- Apr 15 - Dec 15 stays: Cancel 30 days or more before arrival.
- Dec 16- Jan 4 stays: Cancel 120 days or more before arrival.
- If cancellation is made within the timeframes above, rent plus the resort fee paid are forfeited. Occupancy taxes and refundable damage deposit paid will be refunded to the card on file.
- No refunds for shortened stays within the cancellation period.
- No admin fees for accommodating minor date changes.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
Day Tripping
Cayman Ferries operates daily water taxis departing from the Kaibo Marina to Camana Bay. Perfect for day trips to Seven Mile Beach or shopping excursions at Camana Bay.
Download their app to purchase your tickets in advance. Just be sure to make it back for the return voyage across the sound!
