Pools of the Kai #10 has been fully renovated and redecorated with new furniture, finishes, countertops, and modern kitchen appliances.

The living area is furnished with island decor, a cable television, plus sofa seating, and a dining table with seating for 4. Sliding glass doors provide walk-out access to the home's screened pool atrium.

This private oasis comes furnished with a patio dining set and a sun lounger. Soak in your own private pool and enjoy the stunning tropical views from the comfort of your home away from home. 

Optional pool heating is available year-round for a daily $25 surcharge. 

The kitchen features a suite of modern appliances and all the elements needed to prepare meals throughout your stay. 

For work-from-home professionals, the home's upgraded fiber internet connection can handle multiple users and streaming devices at once. Work remotely from one of the Caribbean's safest destinations.

Two-bedroom suites are located on the upper and lower level of the home.

Beach Notes

The white sand beach behind the Pools of the Kai units is pure, barefoot beach sand. You can easily walk 120 yards to the Kaibo Yacht Club for drinks, meals, and watersports, as well as charter boat pick-up.

Facing the sound, the ocean water behind the Pools of the Kai is clear and calm. There are no reefs here teeming with marine life, nor is the sea bottom sandy.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically open to the public. For barefoot swimming, we suggest walking across the street to Gardens of the Kai, or heading west to Starfish Point. Details under the Map tab.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the King owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to weather. 

The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. 

Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Pools of the Kai #10 was beautiful. We loved the quietness of Rum Point. The house was great. We had a little trouble getting a response at first from Thelda, but we sent a text message and she responded shortly after.

The condo is cozy, clean, and accommodating. Relaxed, slow pace stay close to rum point, we took scooters over to rum point beach which is great. Just a walk starfish point. Was from kaibo restaurant. Upstairs at kaibo requires a reservation but is a must. Swanky, classic, gorgeous ship hull motif, roaring twenties vibes with a lovely extensive rum list and fun antiques tied to queen Elizabeth’s visit. Our host Thelda was responsive and great. No issues

Our 11th year in Cayman - 1st time at rum point. well stocked kitchen which is nice to have on vacation. Went out of their way to drop off scrabble when we forgot to bring ours. Very quiet location. The pool was well maintained, clean, and not overly chlorinated. Access to a dock to be able to walk out and drop into the water without walking through sea grass. We were told we had to put the trash out by the curb on Th, but someone magically emptied our bins at the house on Wed - a lovely surprise. There were a few issues related to age of the place, but we were able to resolve with supplies we found onsite. Example: the sliding glass doors that open up an entire kitchen/living room wall to the pool patio needed some WD40 before they worked well enough. But I don't generally count those things against a good time unless they can't be resolved. Overall management very responsive so if I had pushed for something I'm sure they would have come out for us. Great getaway.

This was perfect for us. We had 4 adults-1 bedroom up and 1 on the main floor made for separate spaces. Easy check in, clean. Great location away from the touristy part of the island. Peaceful and quiet.

This place is definitely true to the description. Everything was absolutely amazing. The property managers are VERY responsive. The villa was gorgeous and very very clean and so comfortable. It’s in a very quiet location. We can’t wait to return.

A spontanious decision to get away from the same old hussle and bussle led me right to this serene little spot at Kaibo. Definetly best idea I had in a long while. The property was clean, nicely decorated, a home away from home. Had everything anyone could ask for and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I loved the pool and the beach!

The home was exactly as depicted! Location was off the beaten path which offered enough isolation while still feeling connected to other activities. Adjacent to Starfish Point and a stones throw from Rum Point. Best part was the bed which was amazingly soft and a great ending to every day!

The stay was fabulous. Extremely close to rum point and star fish point , some of the happening places around. The property was super clean and tranquil all around. Thanks a lot for the wonderful experience. These memories are etched and we can’t wait to come back and create more .

Lower Occupancy Discount

For 2 or fewer guests occupying the villa, the owner lowers the rate by $50/night. The discount will be reflected during the booking process automatically. Festive dates blacked-out.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum required year round and over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island

For rental cars, we recommend Budget CaymanAvis, or Marshalls.

Day Tripping

Cayman Ferries operates daily water taxis departing from the Kaibo Marina to Camana Bay. Perfect for day trips to Seven Mile Beach or shopping excursions at Camana Bay.

Download their app to purchase your tickets in advance. Just be sure to make it back for the return voyage across the sound!
