Welcome to Castaway Cove, an oceanfront villa located on the North Side.
Offering excellent backyard snorkeling, this airy, sun-filled two-story beach house features breathtaking views from almost every room, vaulted ceilings, and an open concept design.
Enjoying a protective coral reef, Castaway Cove is perfect for snorkelers and water enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy their own private dock with thatched cabana, built-in benches, and an ocean ladder for gentle water entry. The dock is a great spot for lazy lounging above the waves with a good book or your favorite people! We advise all guests to wear foot protection when wading into the ocean.
The living area features vaulted ceilings and an open design, allowing tons of natural light and dazzling ocean views to fill the interiors. All the comforts of home are provided, from plush couches to a large HD cable television with surround sound.

The home's kitchen comes equipped with modern appliances and breakfast bar seating. There's a formal indoor dining table with seating for 6, plus an alfresco dining table on the oceanfront deck.
Combined with its convenient Northside location, minutes away from a grocery store, restaurants, and excursions departing from the Rum Point Club, it’s easy to see why Castaway Cove is an excellent value for young families and traveling groups. With no properties adjacent to the home, guests are assured maximum privacy to relax and recharge under the island sun.

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The homes in Northside offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches in Northside can have plenty of white sand, but can also be pebbly with natural rock formations. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear foot protection—pool shoes or fins—when wading into the ocean.
From North Side, it's an easy 10-minute drive to the Rum Point Club, as well as a 10-15 minute drive to Tukka restaurant in the East End. You'll also find 2 resorts in the East End—Morritts and The Reef—with restaurants and a dock bar.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The beach next door is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the summer months. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.
If sargassum weed becomes extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions, which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around Mother Nature.

Nicer Than The Pictures!
Everything about our stay was amazing, the house is even nicer than in the pictures, it is very well stocked with games, books and the kitchen has everything that you need. The beds are very comfortable. The house is very private for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. The views sitting on the deck were gorgeous and we swam with stingrays off of the cabana and lots of coral and reefs for snorkeling. The girls at the welcome center were very sweet and helpful and the property manager and his wife are extremely nice people. This house is absolute paradise and I can't wait to book it again, we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful.
Would Certainly Stay Here Again
I have a family of 8 adults and 2 children and Castaway Cove located directly on you on private beach area was perfect! The house had plenty of room and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very responsive to our questions and requests and we would certainly stay at Castaway Cove again!

Castaway Cove house
The house is very nice and accommodating for 4-6 people. It's on the Northside of the island and has great beach front with a dock for fishing and getting in the water. The water temp is great and a wonderful swim. Used the kayak to get to the breakers and could see on a calm day the beautiful coral and fish in the aqua blue water. It is about a 45 minute ride from airport. The people at "Grand Cayman Villas & Condos" are very nice and helpful!
Great Stay
We had a great stay at Castaway Cove. The view from the house is beautiful. We enjoyed the 2 kayaks that were provided with the house. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting a quiet, beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown.
The Views!
We can’t say enough about this paradise of a home. Floor to ceiling windows with full views of the Caribbean from all parts of the house. Clean, high-end beds and furniture. We can’t wait to come back!!!
GREAT VACATION
We scheduled a multi-family vacation, and this house offered the space and amenities we needed. The house was perfect… it offered the number of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms that accommodated everyone. The kitchen was spectacular. We were able to cook fresh meals daily. My only suggestion is that the stove top fan be repaired, or one be added to reduce any smoke from cooking. Also, there was only one Teflon coated skillet which is peeling and should be replaced and maybe add a few more as the others are hard to cook with. Outside of that, the kitchen was complete; it offered everything we needed.
We did have a slight scare during the storm. The power went out, but it was restored to the area within a couple of hours and did not affect our guests; they never realized that there was an outage.
I also appreciate the quick response to address a few issues that needed attention; the repairs were done in record time. Also, there is an adorable black kitten that lives under the house. We all adopted him and named him Onyx. He was a very welcomed little visitor and I hope that the next guests can give him a little love and feed him a little something. If possible, we would have taken him home with us and his visits made the stay extra special. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, amazing beach, deck and breath-taking views. It was a dream vacation for our friends that came with us. We travel to Grand Cayman every year to visit friends and family and this house made it special. Thank you!
Everything you could need!
Truly incredible property! Palm trees, beach access, private dock with a hammock that\'s perfect fo viewing both sunrises and sunsets. The water is calm, and theres reef snorkeling less than 100 yards off the dock. The house is large and airy feeling, with great AC. It has everything you could need. The property manager is kind and communicative. Will definitely stay here again and whole heartedly recommend!
WOW
We have been visiting Grand Cayman since 2012 and have always stayed at the Marriott. Due to Covid & some issues during our 2020 visit, we decided to try something new.
Castaway Cove could not have been more perfect: great secluded location, great facilities & very spacious.
Beach can be a little rocky, but this was not an issue - water was so clear & calm.
I would suggest that a car is a must.
There is no doubt that we will be back.

Everything was perfect
It was great to have a few paper products already there, plus extra pillows, beach towels, light switches were labeled and phone numbers for anything we needed. The home is very comfortable and nicely decorated with plenty of space, rooms and bathrooms for everyone.

Great private home rental
Our stay was 12/28/16 - 1/4/17. Our party of 8, 2 families of 4, had a wonderful time at this home. Description of property is very accurate. Very private location. You have to have a car to stay here. The house was very clean, and was perfect for us. We loved snorkeling from their pier, and even if the water seemed a bit rough (not every day), the current conditions were not bad for swimming. Very pretty coral! The beach is not your clean white sand at a resort, but was very enjoyable. The only issue I had with the house (reason for 4 stars) is that I slept in the master suite and at night I love the windows open to listen to the ocean and you cannot open the sliders at all, they are completely caulked on the outside and the room has no windows so we had to have A/C on. I think overall weather is hit or miss, 5 of our 7 days were windy and 2 were not. The 2 that weren\'t were buggy and the other 5 weren\'t. But you are in a tropical location so bugs are to be expected. We enjoyed the deck everyday and wonderful stargazing at night. I have to say, overall the house was very nice and I would definitely recommend staying there.

“Impossible to put in one sentence...unless it's a run-on sentence”
This home was almost perfect for our family. I say \"almost\" because our 17 year-old grandson had to sleep on the sofa. And with 6 adult early-risers, his beauty sleep was interrupted. (the 2 teen-aged granddaughters got the twin beds upstairs) Other than that, the home was exceptionally wonderful. We brought all items recommended (detergent, TP, etc.,) but the home was well-stocked already. I really can\'t say enough about the home. Our daughter asked us all one evening what we liked best about the house, and we all said \"everything!\" Beautifully decorated. Great, well-equipped kitchen. Really appreciated the beach towels provided. And the deck. The beach was not perfect (lots of seaweed washed up on shore, and there was also some debris) but the snorkeling was very nice, and we enjoyed the cabana. The north side is windy, but after spending some time on 7 Mile Beach, we appreciated the breeze. “Great Villa”
We loved Castaway Cove. It is very clean. The kitchen is totally equipped with everything you need. Other renters left things so we did as well. The beach towels and cooler was great. We used them every day. The grill wasn\'t the best but served our purpose for the one time we grilled. It is very quiet so sleeping was no problem. One morning there was a bulldozer clearing the lot next door. So there was that noise.
The bedroom were very comfortable. The showers were great.

The weather was amazing and the beach was great. My kids loved snorkeling off the pier. The house was completely stocked and the serenity and peace of the totally private beach house was amazing.

Booking Rules
- 5 nights minimum stay required.
- 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's are split into two rental periods. Please inquire directly with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays are welcome but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire to book.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
- No weddings or events permitted.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
