Nice place. Great location. Will stay again.
Great location, nice property, helpful staff
We have stayed on Grand Cayman several times in other condominiums but decided to try the Plantana and we very glad we did. The location is excellent, the beach is well cared for and the condominiums- 2BR, 2BA - are well laid out and appointed. We would definitely go back.
Great place to stay but...
Pros: absolutely beautiful rooms, very clean, can’t beat the location on the beach (private beach) with chairs and umbrellas. They also will hold your luggage for you if you arrive before you can check in / your flight doesn’t leave until a few hours after checkout, which was greatly appreciated to enjoy another day on the beach. Cons: Definitely double check which room you’re booking if you have a disability or problems with stairs. We were 3 stories up, which thankfully is fine, but I could imagine this being a problem for some since there are no elevators. Second, if your room faces the road, you can hear traffic all night long. Thankfully, I had a noise machine with me, but even that didn’t block it all out. Third, while most of the workers were super accommodating and incredibly nice, the very last day left a bad taste in my mouth a bit. Checkout is 11am. First, the housekeeper knocked on our door at 9:30 to check when we were leaving. That’s fine, I figured maybe she hadn’t talked to the front desk, politely told her I would be checking out at 11am and she went on her way. A bit later, maybe around 10 or so, a man from the office called our room and asked us if we were leaving soon. I was completely baffled by this and ended up feeling rushed and like I was a burden. My flight didn’t leave until 4pm so I was cleaning a bit before the 11am check out time. He made me feel guilty that they had someone checking in later that day at 3pm. If you can’t clean a room between 11am and 3pm, maybe change your check out time to an hour earlier instead of rushing your guests? It felt rude and kind of took the wind out of my sails. Once I got to the office to store my stuff (at 10:55am), they were awesome and I didn’t see the man anywhere. It just came across as pushy and like it was my fault they had a quick turnaround that day. Not to mention, if you say checkout time is 11, why are you bu

Room was okay. Unit 36 on the 3rd floor. Sleeping was not easy as the A/C on the roof was a bit noisy. Beach, weather, and water were all excellent.

We went for a week. 2 BDR unit on top flor with partial beach view. Unot was comfortable, pristine and convenient. Beach was wonderful. Would definitely return
Amazing Beach and Beautiful Sunsets at the Plantana!
Unit #36 was well located with easy access from the parking lot and to the beach. It has everything you need, except a Keurig to feel right at home.
Two weeks was not enough!
This was our third stay at Plantana and second in unit 36. This condo is well furnished and stocked with everything you need except spices. The property is maintained like a golf course and is well tended. We were abble to check in early and the daily housekeeping came after we were out for the day. The beach is so clean and convenient with lots of chairs and shade when needed. Good snorkeling in calm waters right off the beach. We dove, snorkled, hung out in the water and enjoyed many great restaurants. there are 2 grocery stores within a short walk and we never needed a car with the great bus system and taxis. We brought two additional couples for some of our stay and are already planning to return next year.
Great Vacation!
Excellent on all fronts. We loved the beach, the ease of walking to restaurants, our condo was well appointed and the team was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
We would stay again
Everything was excellent. Just ran out of clean towels before leaving. Would’ve like if someone came to ask if we needed anything. Overall it was once again excellent. The view, the unit was nice and clean

My stay at Plantana was exactly what I needed. Location is super convenient and the property is located on seven mile beach so the water was always amazing. Our unit was nice and comfy and had everything we needed. I will be back!
