JetBlue Relaunches Fort Lauderdale Flights for Winter 2025

Jet Blue adds 3 weekly flights to Grand Cayman for the winter 2025-26 travel season.

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) has announced the return of JetBlue’s nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL) to Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM), beginning December 4th, 2025. The flights will operate three times weekly—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—providing U.S. travelers with easier access to one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations.

This new schedule enhances winter connectivity for both short island getaways and extended holiday stays, making it easier than ever to enjoy the Cayman Islands’ world-class offerings.

“The addition of this JetBlue route underscores our reputation as a premier Caribbean destination,” said Hon. Gary Rutty, Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism and Trade Development. “From the iconic Seven Mile Beach to our vibrant culinary scene, travelers will find experiences in Grand Cayman that cannot be matched elsewhere in the region.”

With JetBlue’s returning flights, visitors from Florida and across the Southeast have direct access to unforgettable Caribbean vacations in just over an hour.

Whether booking a luxury holiday on the beach or a weekend culinary escape, travelers are encouraged to secure accommodations early for the 2025–26 winter travel season. And, if you’re traveling from a winter weather destination, purchase trip insurance to protect your travel plans against inclement weather, illness, or travel delays.
