United Adds More Winter Flights to Grand Cayman

A snowy scene in Washington, D.C.
United Airlines is adding direct flights to Cayman from Dulles Int’l Airport (IAD).

The Cayman Islands are now more accessible than ever, thanks to expanded nonstop service from United Airlines.

Starting this December, travelers from Chicago, Charlotte, and Washington, D.C. can enjoy easier access to one of the Caribbean’s most luxurious beach destinations.

From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), United will offer daily nonstop flights to Grand Cayman (GCM) from December 18, 2025, to January 5, 2026, followed by weekly Saturday flights through the winter season.

Meanwhile, Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) travelers can fly nonstop five times a week—on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—starting January 1 through the end of February 2026.

Lastly, direct flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in the Tar Heel State will continue to operate daily year-round with one additional flight on Saturdays.

These additional routes come as the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism ramps up airlift in response to surging demand. With record-breaking stayover visitor numbers already in 2025, the islands are set for a banner winter travel season.

Whether you’re planning a romantic beach escape, a family getaway, or a Caribbean vacation filled with snorkeling, fine dining, and world-class resorts, Grand Cayman is easier to reach than ever.
