Snowbirds rejoice! Starting December 20, 2025, Delta Air Lines will launch convenient nonstop Saturday flights from New York’s JFK International Airport straight to the sun-kissed shores of Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM).
The new seasonal service will run through April 11, 2026—perfect for winter escapes from the frigid Northeast.
This marks Delta’s first JFK to Grand Cayman service in over a decade, reaffirming New York’s importance as the Cayman Islands’ top U.S. market and one of its most vital gateway cities.
“Delta’s renewed commitment signals growing demand for easy-access Caribbean getaways,” says Gary Hendricks-Dominguez, Deputy Director of International Marketing at the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. “For Northeastern travelers looking for sun, sea, and world-class experiences, the Cayman Islands offer the perfect quick getaway.”
Trade Snow for Sand in Under 4 Hours
With flight times averaging just under four hours, it’s never been easier for New Yorkers and travelers in the Tri-State area to ditch their winter coats for beachwear and experience a luxury Caribbean retreat without the long travel hassle.
Delta is also reinstating its nonstop service from Detroit to Grand Cayman, also beginning December 20, giving even more travelers across the northern U.S. a direct path to paradise this winter.
